A Day of Rememberance [ 03.26.05 8 49 pm ] [ mood | nostalgic ] [ music | Jack Johnson ] 1 year ago today I was across the Atlantic, thrown into a whole new culture and way of life. I was on a trip of a lifetime with my best friends and future best friends, who could ask for more? I could...ask for it to have lasted longer. Has it really been a year? I cant get myself to believe it. I know it sounds completely cliche but it was a life-changing trip. I got to know people I barely ever talked to, and got closer with the people I thought I already knew so well. London, Versailles, Paris, Venice, Capri, Pompeii, Florence, and Rome, were my temporary home for 2 weeks too short. This past birthday marked the beginning of my Make-it-back-2-Europe fund, and I put all my bday money into a new account that I wont touch, and only let accummulate, because Im serious about this goal. Anyone want to join?? Its so hard to believe that since this trip I have graduated from High School, started college in the summer, had successful semesters and now Im almost done with an entire year?? I dont know about the rest of the people with me on the trip, but the last thing on my mind was college, and now Im in college and the first thing on my mind is Europe. Weekend Update (not SNL) [ 07.02.04 8 39 pm ] [ mood | shocked ] [ music | None ] Helloooo from U of F...Got here last night with Mer, we had a very nice drive up together, after she passed out in my bed for a little while :) Got here and partied a little and met up with suzi and went to a club/bar for a little, it was nice...We are partyin tonight, its gonna be real fun. Today I saw "Fahrenheit 9/11" a movie I think every American should go see, to be educated on the ways our government is unproperly working. It opened my eyes to a lot of things I was unaware of and brought to my attention aspects of this administration that are corrupted. But dont take my word for it, go see if for yourself...You'll be moved, in one way or another. 4 don't recover from a night like this
